Piano for Little Fingers
B i o g r a p h y
I started taking piano lessons from a music teacher when I was 5 years old, although already learning how to read notes and basic music theory when I was 4 with the help of my mom. Now I am teaching piano to others so that they too can learn music and have something special in their lives. My favorite composer is Chopin, I love his Nocturnes.
"I love teaching, I love the idea that I'm helping someone learn the universal language of music."
One of my teachers was Ellen Masaki, Ellen Masaki was the best teacher in Oahu, she was the teacher of many professional classical pianist such as Lisa Nakamichi, and Sean Kennard. Although I am a young teacher I take teaching seriously, I make sure to create a nice and friendly relationship with every student while staying professional during lessons. I know that every student learns differently, so I create different teaching techniques to fit each students needs. I use Piano Adventures by Nancy and Randal Faber with technique books such as Junior Hanon.
My goal is to create a fun learning environment for all my students so that their excited for every lesson and for them to have confidence in their music knowledge and piano playing. I continue to learn more about piano pedagogy by going to college music classess and practicing. If interested in taking lessons please click the "Contact" tab above the screen to the right and read.
